By 2028, we anticipate that 75% of enterprise software engineers will be using AI coding assistants, a significant leap from the less than 10% who did so in early 2023.

These applications, whether catering to consumers or businesses, integrate AI and external data sources to automate and augment a wide range of use cases. Generative AI takes center stage now, making applications smarter by injecting insights directly into existing apps, eliminating the need for separate tools. These apps offer tailored predictions and suggestions, facilitating data-driven decision-making. By 2030, we foresee that 30% of all new applications will employ AI to craft custom, adaptive user interfaces, a notable jump from the current 5%.
